چکیده

Abstract: In this paper, we introduce seminormed and semiconormed fuzzy integrals associated with confidence measures. These confidence measures have a field of sets as their domain, and a complete lattice as their codomain. In introducing these integrals, the analogy with the classical introduction of Legesgue integrals is explored and exploited. It is amongst other things shown that our integrals are the most general integrals that satisfy a number of natural basic properties. In this way, our dual classes of fuzzy integrals constitute a significant generalization of Sugeno’s fuzzy integrals. A large number of important general properties of these integrals is studied. Furthermore, and most importantly, the combination of seminormed fuzzy integrals and possibility measures on the one hand, and semiconormed fuzzy integrals and necessity measures on the other hand, is extensively studied. It is shown that these combinations are very natural, and have properties which are analogous to the combination of Lebesgue integrals and classical measures. Using these results, the very basis is laid for a unifying measureand integral-theoretic account of possibility and necessity theory, in very much the same way as the theory of Lebesgue integration provides a proper framework for a unifying and formal account of probability theory.

Implicator and coimplicator integrals

We introduce and study implicator and coimplicator integrals, and investigate their possible application in defining the possibility and necessity of fuzzy sets. First, the definition and properties of implicators and coimplicators on bounded posets are discussed. Then, in analogy with the theory of seminormed and semiconormed fuzzy integrals, implicator and coimplicator integrals are defined. ...

Qualitative integrals and desintegrals as lower and upper possibilistic expectations

Any capacity (i.e., an increasing set function) has been proved to be a lower possibility measure and an upper necessity measure. Similarly, it is shown that any anti-capacity (i.e., a decreasing set function) can be viewed both as an upper guaranteed possibility measure and as a lower weak necessity measure. These results are the basis for establishing that qualitative integrals (including Sug...

Additivity and Monotonicity in Fuzzy Measures

Our paper deals with the necessary properties in Fuzzy Measures. Therefore, it belongs to Fuzzy Mathematical Analysis. The Possibility Theory was created by Zadeh in a paper of 1978. As general purpose, to obtain a way to model flexible restrictions constructed from vague pieces of information. If we study the counterparts of expectations (from Probability Theory) in Possibility Theory, we obta...

Fuzzy Measures on Finite Scales as Families of Possibility Measures

We show that any capacity or fuzzy measure ranging on a qualitative scale can be viewed both as the lower bound of a set of possibility measures, and the upper bound of a set of necessity measures. An algorithm is provided to compute the minimal set of possibility measures dominating a given capacity. This algorithm relies on the representation of the capacity by means of its qualitative Moebiu...

The Argument of Possibility and necessity encountering the critiques of Russell, Hume, and Kant

The argument of possibility and necessity- which is considered as some of the most important arguments in proving the existence of God - have taken a key place in humanschr('39') thoughts. In history, among thinkers related to the creation of the universe, no major philosopher or thinker can be found other than those who have faced this argument; thus this argument has met many criticisms an...
